I earned my PADI Junior Open Water certification when I was 10, and Submerged is where I share what happens next: the places I dive, the incredible animals I meet, underwater photographs and films, and everything I discover along the way.
And then there’s the slightly bigger plan: I want to build a submarine.
Submerged will follow that adventure from the first ideas and sketches through designing, building and testing it — including the experiments that work and the ones that definitely don’t.
Meet Finn & Bertie
Finn and Bertie are my two resident sharks. They have a habit of turning up everywhere, although neither has proved particularly useful at building submarines.
